Description Miro Hrončok 2020-05-18 12:56:14 UTC
The last build of python-readme-renderer is no longer installable and causes trouble for twine and pipenv, both crucial for the Python ecosystem. Please revert the change immediately and coordinate update of pygments first.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 26.0-2.fc33

Mirko, you are the maintainer of python-pygments. Interesting approach to keep things open and then blame other...

I am not blaming anybody. I reported a serious problem. Had I known you need pygments >= 2.5.1 before you updated the package, I'd update pygments. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

My primary concern is to get things not broken, not to point fingers.

Fabian, I apologize for the unnecessary hostile tone of this bugreport. The Python 3.9 rebase is almost here and every little breakage like this makes it much harder and harder to proceed. I am under a lot of stress and it sometimes reflects poorly on my communication :(

Hello,

Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (ignatenkobrain).

All subpackages of a package agaisnt which this bug was filled are now installable or removed from Fedora 33.

Thanks for taking care of it!

Comment 6 Miro Hrončok 2020-05-19 21:17:36 UTC
That was just because of the untagging.
