Description Eugene Syromiatnikov 2020-05-22 17:33:18 UTC
A new Intel microcode release is available:
https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/releases/tag/microcode-20200520

It includes updated microcode files for SNB-E/EN/EP CPU models.

Eirik Fuller tested and verified microcode_ctl-1.17-33.26.el6_10 on RHEL-6.10.z. Thanks Eirik!

The FAIL results on the "Xeon W-2133 (blacklist)" and "Sandy Bridge EP/EN (blacklist)" jobs are expected since the blacklist blocks them from updating to the latest CPU microcode. The task expects the CPUs to be running the latest, so in this case, a failure is a good thing since it means the blacklist is working.
