Description Ben Cotton 2020-05-27 12:13:03 UTC
As reported upstream (https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/issues/217): the application doesn't write anything to the disk, even though it says "writing".

Opening this bug for the purpose of the Fedora Prioritized Bugs process.

In today's meeting, we agreed to accept this as a prioritized bug:

Comment 2 Ben Cotton 2020-06-16 18:46:13 UTC
Martin, do you have an update on the Catalina support possibilities we discussed in the last Prioritized Bugs meeting?

Comment 3 Jan Grulich 2020-06-17 05:45:30 UTC
I will try to look into that. I'm currently waiting for a hardware and then I guess it will take a while until I find out as I have never used MacOS before.

Comment 4 Jan Grulich 2020-07-01 05:39:01 UTC
Update: I have a MacBook and I started working on it.

Comment 5 Jan Grulich 2020-07-03 06:24:20 UTC
We have a working solution, which is currently on review here → https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/pull/256. I think or hope we can have a release soon.

Comment 7 Ben Cotton 2020-07-10 16:29:25 UTC
Updating the bug status and clearing NEEDINFO. I'll ping releng in their ticket about the signing.

Comment 8 Ben Cotton 2020-08-11 13:34:24 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.

Binaries are signed and released.
