Description SATHEESARAN 2020-05-28 05:38:40 UTC
Description of problem:
------------------------
When attempting for RHHI-V deployment with static IPv6, gluster deployment is successful while the hosted-engine deployment fails

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
--------------------------------------------------------------
vdsm-gluster-4.40.16-1.el8ev.x86_64

How reproducible:
-----------------
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
------------------
1. Add the IPV6 hostname to /etc/hosts
2. Use that hostname for 'gluster --remote-host=<host> peer status'

Actual results:
---------------
'gluster --remote-host' is unable to resolve the IPV6 hostname in /etc/hosts

Expected results:
-----------------
'gluster --remote-host' is supposed to resolve the IPV6 hostname in /etc/hosts
