.Direct integration of RHEL into AD using SSSD now supports FIPS With this enhancement, the System Services Security Daemon (SSSD) now integrates with Active Directory (AD) deployments whose authentication mechanisms use encryption types that were approved by the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS). The enhancement enables you to directly integrate RHEL systems into AD in environments that must meet the FIPS criteria.
