Description Mark Allyn 2006-03-06 21:01:18 UTC
The glxgears and glxinfo commands are missing. These commands
are necessary in order to determine if the direct rendering graphics
drivers are properly installed and working.

Comment 1 Mike A. Harris 2006-03-06 21:20:12 UTC
glxgears and glxinfo are both present in FC5.

Comment 2 Mark Allyn 2006-03-06 23:12:36 UTC
I have installed FC5 test 3 and tried glxgears and glxinfo from the command
line. Both commands cannot be found.

Do glxgears and glxinfo have to be installed separately from the install CD
set?

If so, which package are they in?

Do we plan to not have glxgears and glxinfo be part of the default Fedora Core
installation?

Comment 3 Mike A. Harris 2006-03-06 23:27:44 UTC
fedora-devel-list is the appropriate place for such discussions
and questions. Bugzilla is for tracking bugs, of which this is not.
