Hi Olive, as I've mentioned in the email, I can provide comments just from my (QE) perspective. For final decision, it would be better too contact somebody from DEV and maybe PM team. > According to the user story, we just need to add a line of text guiding > users to the OCP docs if they need to know how to configure their OCP 4.5 > cluster proxy. Is that correct? Yes, if there will be no issue with the common procedure from OCP doc, we should just redirect to that doc. > In Planning Guide --> within Supported Configurations --> we currently have > sections for > - Using Dynamically Created Storage > - Using Local Storage Devices > > Not sure how to address this in the Planning Guide. I'm also not sure, if there should be another section in this chapter related to the proxy environment and what should be the content. Applied peer review feedback to 2nd paragraph. Revised content as follows: ===================================================================== 4.3. Using a proxy environment A proxy environment is a production environment that denies direct access to the internet and provides an available HTTP or HTTPS proxy instead. Red Hat Openshift Container Platform is configured to use a proxy by modifying the proxy object for existing clusters or by configuring the proxy settings in the install-config.yaml file for new clusters. Red Hat supports deployment of Openshift Container Storage versions 4.5 and higher in proxy environments when OpenShift Container Platform has been configured according to configuring the cluster-wide proxy[1]. ===================================================================== [1] https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.2/networking/enable-cluster-wide-proxy.html Preview URL https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_container_storage/4.5/html-single/planning_your_deployment/index?lb_target=preview#using_a_proxy_environment |
