Description Tomas Popela 2020-07-08 06:43:46 UTC
In 8.3 we moved all of our stack to PipeWire 0.3. The problem is that Chromium/Chrome and its WebRTC still doesn't support PipeWire 0.3 (and as it uses dlopen() to open the PipeWire, then the RPM requires are not listing PipeWire 0.2 as a dependency) so we have to have PipeWire 0.2 available so the screen/window sharing works properly out of the box.

In short we need https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/xdg-desktop-portal/pull-request/2#c-c0dc818f9931edcc60d70f348ef152961bd51d5a-14 for RHEL 8.3.
