Description of problem:
$ oc adm must-gather --image="registry-proxy.engineering.redhat.com/rh-osbs/container-native-virtualization-cnv-must-gather-rhel8:v2.4.0" --dest-dir=/tmp/


Under ./namespaces/openshift-cnv/ directory, in addition to the log files:

rw-rr-. 1 istein istein 29470667 Jul 8 08:19 vm-import-controller-76d97bfc4d-94zg9.log
rw-rr-. 1 istein istein 19929 Jul 8 08:19 vm-import-operator-d668cf5bc-z75p6.log

Empty directories are also created:

drwxr-xr-x. 2 istein istein 40 Jul 8 08:22 vm-import-operator-d668cf5bc-z75p6
drwxr-xr-x. 2 istein istein 40 Jul 8 08:22 vm-import-controller-76d97bfc4d-94zg9

Verified on CNV-2.4.

Now the vm-import-operator/controller logs are placed under directories:
$ cd vm-import-controller-74b954cc6b-v4lpv
$ ls -ltr
total 8620
-rw-r--r--. 1 istein istein 8825824 Jul 21 11:50 vm-import-controller-74b954cc6b-v4lpv.log
[istein@localhost vm-import-controller-74b954cc6b-v4lpv]$ cd ..
[istein@localhost openshift-cnv]$ cd vm-import-operator-7b7d984b9f-fftvs
[istein@localhost vm-import-operator-7b7d984b9f-fftvs]$ ls -ltr
total 28
-rw-r--r--. 1 istein istein 28555 Jul 21 11:50 vm-import-operator-7b7d984b9f-fftvs.log
