Description of problem:
EPEL 7 currently provides a relatively old version of bullet. Updating to a slightly newer version will allow downstream packages to build with fewer compiler warnings.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.82-2.el7

Additional info:
In our use case, updating even one minor version silences all of the compiler warnings we're seeing coming from bullet, but it may be a good idea to update it to a more modern release while we're in the neighborhood.

You mentioned that this patch would fix your issue, would backporting it be OK until I can get the full suite updated?

Also, I'm curious why bullet headers are causing compile errors in user code - are you including them with -Isystem or include_directories(SYSETEM)?

Absolutely, I'd appreciate that.

There is an issue that I haven't really dug into that made this complicated. It could very well be specific to Windows or OSX. I'll try to carve out some time to try it again, but it would be a good to assume that there was a good reason we decided not to use that approach previously and move ahead with pulling in the upstream patch.
