Description of problem:
dnf-makecache.timer make my network bandwidth higher than my prediction

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Deploy 4000 virtual machines at the same time
2.They trigger dnf-makecache.timer at the same time
3.

Actual results:


Expected results:
Don't want to take up too much network bandwidth

We will use the same timer randomization as is used with the dnf-automatic timers. Is that ok with you zhangrui?

Hi zhangrui, I didn't get to look into it yet, but I believe I don't need to reproduce, there is no randomization to the timer so we know the problem can occur.

Are you saying you would prefer to not have the makecache timer at all? Is it possible for you to disable it before deploying the VMs?

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.
