Description Joachim Frieben 2006-03-18 20:06:33 UTC
Description of problem:
The handle which allows to drag widgets embedded in the panel is
(almost) invisible when the Bluecurve theme is chosen. The panel
area remains occupied but the hatches which indicated its presence
visually are gone.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
redhat-artwork-0.241

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose Bluecurve theme.

Actual results:
The handle hatches disappears.

Expected results:
The handle should be hatched diagonally in the typical
Bluecurve manner.

Additional info:
The handle is clearly visible as long as a different,
e.g. Clearlooks is chosen.

Comment 3 Joachim Frieben 2006-05-16 16:04:52 UTC
The screenshot of Comment #2 shows how everything works correctly
on an FC4 based system. The typical Bluecurve style vertical hatches
are cleary visible.

Comment 4 Joachim Frieben 2008-01-05 19:38:29 UTC
Issue is still present for "bluecurve-gtk-themes-1.0.0-1.fc8".

Comment 5 Bug Zapper 2008-05-14 02:07:14 UTC
Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA.

Reproduced with Fedora 10.

Comment 7 Amir Caspi 2009-04-02 07:28:46 UTC
Also reproduced with CentOS 5.2 and 5.3 (using redhat-artwork-5.1.0-28); the issue lies with libbluecurve.so. External bug added.

Comment 8 Bug Zapper 2009-11-18 09:14:55 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 10 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 10. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '10'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 10's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 10 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this
bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version,
please add a comment here and someone will do it for you.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Comment 9 Joachim Frieben 2009-11-18 13:40:18 UTC
Issue applies to both F11 and F12.

Comment 10 Joachim Frieben 2010-04-26 07:07:28 UTC
Issue still present for bluecurve-gtk-themes-1.0.0-3.fc11.x86_64.

Comment 12 Bug Zapper 2010-06-28 10:21:48 UTC
Fedora 11 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2010-06-25. Fedora 11 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
