Description Andrew John Hughes 2020-07-24 16:15:50 UTC
The July 2020 security update has caused a regression in the behaviour of the ForkJoinPool:

https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8249677

This regression is specific to OpenJDK and does not happen with the equivalent proprietary Oracle release.

Upstream, we are planning an 8u265 release to correct this. We should try and ship this in RHEL ASAP.
