Description Andrew Mike 2020-07-28 14:41:42 UTC
Description of problem: When the Caps Lock key is engaged on the password entry screen, GDM displays a generic warning icon with no indication of why it's there. By contrast, other DMs and other OSes give a more descriptive indication that the Caps Lock key is engaged.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.28.2-22.el7

How reproducible: Consistently

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start up GDM.
2. Select a user.
3. Press the Caps Lock key to engage Caps Lock.

Actual results: A generic warning icon appears in the password entry box with no explanation as to what is wrong.

Expected results: A more descriptive icon or message appears indicating that Caps Lock is engaged.
