Description Andrew Price 2020-07-29 10:01:41 UTC
Description of problem:

When using cscope to change strings, it errors out because ed is not installed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cscope-15.9-6.fc32.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run cscope in a project
2. Use the "Change this text string:" option
3. Select some of the displayed lines
4. ^D

Actual results:

/tmp/cscope.2035/cscope.2: line 1: ed: command not found

Expected results:

Strings changed without error.

Additional info:

- If a hard requirement for ed is not to the taste of the package maintainers perhaps it could be a weak dependency.

- The ed package is 76KB.
