Description Dhananjay Arunesh 2020-07-30 07:03:25 UTC
Multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the iriap_getvaluebyclass_indication function in net/irda/iriap.c in the Linux kernel before, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact by leveraging connectivity to an IrDA infrared network and sending a large integer value for a (1) name length or (2) attribute length.

Comment 1 Dhananjay Arunesh 2020-07-30 07:05:32 UTC
Created kernel tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 1862010]

Comment 2 Justin M. Forbes 2020-07-30 14:11:30 UTC
This issue was fixed upstream long enough ago that it has never impacted any currently supported version of Fedora.
