Description of problem: 
Failed to detect os info with URL installation type

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click "Create VM", choose "URL", input the installation source  with 'http ostree','https ostree', 'https_iso'
 
 
Actual results:
In step 1, failed to detect os info automatically

Expected results:
Os info should be detected correctly.

Additional info:
Not sure whether it has the same root cause with bug1862106, feel free to close this bug if so.

Verified with package:
cockpit-machines-224.1-1.el8.noarch

Steps :
1. Click "Create VM", choose "URL", input the installation source  with 'http ostree','https ostree', 'https_iso'

The os info can be detected successfully.
So verified.
