Description Marius Andreiana 2006-03-23 05:44:22 UTC
I'm not sure it's intentional or not, but an application build on FC4 require
libodbcinst.so, which doesn't exist anymore in FC5.

Should the application be rebuilt or should unixODBC continue to provide
libodbcinst.so as a symlink to libodbcinst.so.x ?

Comment 1 Tom Lane 2006-03-23 06:46:48 UTC
In both fc4 and fc5, the libodbcinst.so symlink is provided by the unixODBC-devel RPM. I think you
probably forgot to install the devel RPM on your fc5 machine?

That's right, sorry for the noise
