Description deneault 2006-03-24 17:09:45 UTC
Description of problem:
In attempting to boot the i386 fc5 install image on a Sony Picturebook
PCG-C1VN(with a 600Mhz TM5600 Transmeta Crusoe inside), I recieved the following
error:

"Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution"

The system then halts.

How reproducible:
Happens everytime.

Steps to Reproduce:
I'm upgrading an FC4 distro already installed.
1. unpack boot.iso and make new records in grub.conf for initrd.img and vmlinuz
from the boot image.
2. reboot
3. choose the installer images from the list
4. find error

Expected results:
I'd like the installer to work. :-)

Additional info:
Any can be furnished upon request.

You downloaded the x86_64 version not the i386 version.
