Comment 4 Martin Krajnak 2020-08-20 09:05:13 UTC
Tested the original reproducer with new rpms on 2 machines:

gnome-control-center-filesystem-3.28.2-6.el8_1.noarch
gnome-control-center-3.28.2-6.el8_1.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gnome-control-center -> Sharing -> Screen Sharing
2. Turn Screen Sharing On.
3. Set Require a password.
4. Enter a password.
5. Close and open again (1. step).

Password is still in place, gnome-remote-desktop segfault is gone as well.
