Comment 3 Todd Cullum 2020-08-25 21:03:51 UTC
Flaw summary:

Several issues in /contrib/gdevdj9.c contribute to this flaw which is triggered in mem_true32_fill_rectangle() of /contrib/gdevdj9.c. cdj970_print_page is earlier in the backtrace and is a source of the vulnerability, along with its associated functions as seen in the upstream patch. The sink here is the `dest` pointer when it is passed to memset. It is caused by mishandling of resolutions and can be triggered if an attacker provides a crafted PDF file.

Comment 4 Todd Cullum 2020-08-25 21:08:56 UTC
Mitigation:

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
