Yeah, we want to know if we need to also mention ppc64le arch repo configuartion in these 2 docs: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.4/html/installing_red_hat_virtualization_as_a_standalone_manager_with_local_databases/installing_the_red_hat_virtualization_manager_sm_localdb_deploy#Enabling_the_Red_Hat_Virtualization_Manager_Repositories_install_RHVM https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.4/html/installing_red_hat_virtualization_as_a_standalone_manager_with_remote_databases/installing_the_red_hat_virtualization_manager_sm_remotedb_deploy#Installing_and_Configuring_Data_Warehouse_on_a_Separate_Machine_install_RHVM I canceled needinfo for daturece@, since we are in the same team, and he is on PTO now, so I replied this bug yesterday, maybe I missed the repo names here: # subscription-manager repos \ --disable='*' \ --enable=rhel-8-for-ppc64le-appstream-rpms --enable=rhel-8-for-ppc64le-baseos-rpms --enable=rhv-4-mgmt-agent-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-rpms \ --enable=advanced-virt-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-rpms \ --enable=ansible-2.9-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-rpms And I think there is no power9 for RHEL8, so maybe we only need to put one part(power8) for ppc64le arch. We don't support hosted engine or standalone engine on ppc64le hosts, engine can run on x86_64 only. Waiting for the response of bug 1871055 to decide closing it as notabug or adding ppc64le arch to show how to use repos on arch ppc64le. *** Bug 1873360 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
