When the lid is simply closed from the login screen and then reopened, the screen shows garbage from which there is no recovery and requires a reboot. GNOME Power Manager does not yet handle the no-logged in use-cases as it's
currently being run as a session daemon.

Should the bug be filed under a different app then? gdm I think. Should we close this upstream for now or do you want to track this here richard? I think assign it to gdm, but you can keep it open if you like. Nah, too much in my queue and I assume the g-p-m issues will all be fixed in an update once no-one-loggedin is implemented. The GDM issue actually sounds like an X issue (are you running a non-open source driver?). I would create a bug with GDM and if it is an issue with X it will be reassigned. |
