Description Jesse Keating 2006-03-29 05:25:08 UTC
Starting w/ a fairly minimal install, use yum to install system-config-samba.
It will pull in various deps, but not something that provides libgnome.so. I
had to install xorg-x11-xauth in order to try and run this over an exported SSH
session, but still get:

(system-config-samba.py:6680): libglade-WARNING **: Could not load support for
`gnome': libgnome.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Installing libgnomeui was necessary to get past this Req.

While on the topic of missing Requires, system-config-samba will not start
unless some fonts are installed. xorg-x11-fonts-Type1 being one package that
will provide usable fonts. Somewhere in the depchain, this should have been
brought in.

I fixed the glade file which was erroneously requiring gnome in
system-config-samba-1.2.35.
