Description of problem:

When dragging nodes or edges in the topology view the drag is very sluggish and hard to use. The node/edge does not follow the cursor well and it is hard to drop onto targets.

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a project with a dozen or so nodes.
2. Navigate to the Topology graph view
3. Click and drag a node
4. Hover over a node to see the create connector, then drag the create connector

Actual results:

The drag operation is very sluggish and hard to move the dragged object around

Expected results:

The drag operation performs well and the dragged object keeps up with the cursor.
