Description Alay Patel 2020-09-23 01:09:30 UTC
Description of problem:

Openshift migrations shouldnt include kube events by default

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
MTC 1.3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install MTC
2. Start a migration
3. Inspect the backed up data

Actual results:
It included events

Expected results:
It should exclude events as it does not make sense to transfer event of one cluster to another

Verified using MTC 1.3

openshift-migration-rhel7-operator@sha256:7a6da4a67141ae30771e2907096f7881ba82c53b238f80f93a2820ace49e8de8

After creating a migration plan, we can see that events have been added to the excluded list:

    excludedResources:
    - imagetags
    - templateinstances
    - clusterserviceversions
    - packagemanifests
    - subscriptions
    - servicebrokers
    - servicebindings
    - serviceclasses
    - serviceinstances
    - serviceplans
    - operatorgroups
    - events

Moved to VERIFIED status.
