Description Mike 2020-09-24 08:27:47 UTC
Description of problem:

Hello. I install pyside2-tools, but this package include only pyside2-lupdates. Other instrument: pyside2-rcc and pyside2-uic is missing.

Comment 1 Richard Shaw 2020-09-24 11:47:36 UTC
Since Qt 5.14 the main Qt binaries now have the ability to produce python code so those two binaries were removed from PySide2:

- [PYSIDE-1098] Replace pyside2-uic/pyside2-rcc by
uic/rcc which now have an option to generate Python

Thanks for answer, but binary files rcc or uic not available in terminal.

If run:
dnf provide rcc

Will be return one package - qt-devel, but its old Qt (4.8.7)

Comment 3 Laurent Rineau 2020-09-25 08:04:50 UTC
rcc is available as:

  /usr/lib64/qt5/bin/rcc

or:

  /usr/bin/rcc-qt5
