Description Raghavendra Talur 2020-10-12 14:58:04 UTC
Description of problem (please be detailed as possible and provide log
snippests):

After uninstalling OCS, it is found that the LSO based devices still have their symlinks under the /mnt/local-storage dir on the nodes. They should be cleaned up by LSO.

This bug is to track the LSO bug.

Version of all relevant components (if applicable):
4.6

Reinstall will fail without this fix.

Comment 2 Mudit Agarwal 2020-10-13 15:17:42 UTC
Tracker OCP BZ is linked with a feature targeted for OCP 4.7, moving this BZ accordingly. Keeping it open for OCS.

Comment 3 Mudit Agarwal 2021-01-29 05:37:57 UTC
Corresponding OCP feature (https://issues.redhat.com/browse/STOR-455) won't be there in 4.7

Comment 4 Mudit Agarwal 2021-06-03 13:29:29 UTC
Santosh, I think cleanup is part of 4.9

Comment 5 Santosh Pillai 2021-06-04 06:08:36 UTC
(In reply to Mudit Agarwal from comment #4)
> Santosh, I think cleanup is part of 4.9

Yes. Its part of 4.9.

Reassigning this to Rohan Gupta as he's looking into the clean up epic. https://issues.redhat.com/browse/STOR-490

Comment 6 Mudit Agarwal 2021-09-22 14:41:25 UTC
Not a part of OCP 4.9

Comment 7 Yaniv Kaul 2022-05-31 09:21:39 UTC
No movement in Bugzilla nor in the JIRA item (not even sure why we need both). What's the next step here?

Comment 8 Mudit Agarwal 2022-05-31 09:37:52 UTC
Agree, automated uninstallation doesn't have the highest priority anyway.
Closing the BZ, will ping OCP team offline regarding the Jira.
