Description Ray Strode [halfline] 2020-10-14 19:25:04 UTC
At login time in RHEL 7 the journal has this message:

Window manager warning: "XF86RFKill" is not a valid accelerator

This is because of this commit:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-settings-daemon/-/commit/7fffc28b050db4c2561890e64803f890bfc1e9b3

We're unlikely to update the X server, libxkbcommon and xproto in order to support the feature at this point, which is also required, however.

I'd suggest we just revert the g-s-d commit for RHEL 7.

Comment 4 Tomas Popela 2021-06-11 10:35:44 UTC
We will do a g-s-d build for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1878167 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1909954 anyway so we should put this in as well.
