Description Christian Kellner 2020-10-20 16:42:46 UTC
The thunderbolt controller in Ice Lake and Tiger Lake is different to previous generations in a few fundamental ways which breaks some of bolt's fundamental assumptions:
 1) the host switch associated with a domain has a stable uuid
 2) the host switch associated with a domain has vendor/name attributes

A consequence of 1) is the accumulation of stale domains in the store. A consequence of 2) is that generation detection is broken.

I upstream bolt 0.9.1 release should fix all those issues.
