A new microcode release has been published[1], and it is to be packaged.

There is microcode-20201112 out already[1].

Verified with microcode_ctl-20201112-2.el8.  I tested microcode updates on a wide variety of Intel CPU models from Haswell to Tiger Lake.  The updates worked well on known good systems, and the caveats system within the microcode_ctl rpm successfully blocked updates on systems with known issues.
