There is microcode-20201112 out already[1]. [1] https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/releases/tag/microcode-20201112 Verified with microcode_ctl-20201112-2.el8. I tested microcode updates on a wide variety of Intel CPU models from Haswell to Tiger Lake. The updates worked well on known good systems, and the caveats system within the microcode_ctl rpm successfully blocked updates on systems with known issues. https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/5064322 https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/5069535 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (microcode_ctl bug fix and enhancement update), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2021:1613 |
