Description amit yadav 2020-11-13 08:33:26 UTC
Description of problem:

Whenever I start the Xvnc service for any user, a process of vncsession also starts and goes into zombie state. If I stop the user's vnc service, the zombie process is also cleaned up.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tigervnc-server-1.10.1-7.el8.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure vnc service as per https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5544351
2. Start the vncserver service

Actual results:
vncsession process is going into Zombie state.

root 26082 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 09:38 0:00 [vncsession] <defunct>

Expected results:
Additional vncsession process should not start and go into Zombie state.

Additional info:

This is not affecting the vncsession service. But it is causing confusion.
