Description of problem:
An internal compiler error is encountered when compiling certain snippets of code. This appears to be an upstream bug.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
9.2.1-2.3.el8

How reproducible: 100%


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the gcc-toolset-9-gcc package

2. Get the gcc test case by running:
$ wget -Opr96935.c 'https://gcc.gnu.org/git/?p=gcc.git;a=blob_plain;f=gcc/testsuite/gcc.dg/format/pr96935.c;h=c31109704be67ff539493acf73a6f4ca89ffff9f;hb=d01c3def63caf59d1d156aec8d52a1540e5ffe27'

3. Enable the toolset GCC with command:
$ . /opt/rh/gcc-toolset-9/enable

4. Compile the test case with "gcc -c -O pr96935.c".

Actual results: Compile fails with the following error message:

Expected results: Successful compilation.


Additional info:
- Bug is also present on gcc-toolset-10-gcc-10.2.1-2.el8.x86_64.
- There is a patch at the following commit address: https://gcc.gnu.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=gcc.git;h=d01c3def63caf59d1d156aec8d52a1540e5ffe27

This happens with gcc-toolset-10 too.

Already fixed in the latest gcc-toolset-10-gcc.

Has gcc-toolset-10-gcc-10.2.1-8.1.el8 been released already? Looking at gcc-toolset-10-gcc on https://access.redhat.com/downloads/, it still tells me that 10.2.1-2.el8 is the latest version.

That is correct, not released yet.  Please stay tuned.
