Description Jaroslav Rohel 2020-12-08 12:33:20 UTC
Description of problem:
YUM4 / DNF uses the "upgrade" command to upgrade packages. The "update" command is deprecated and is only supported for backward compatibility. The "update" command is alias to "upgrade".
However, microdnf only supports the deprecated "update" command.

How reproducible:
Command: "microdnf upgrade something"
returns: "error: Unknown command: 'upgrade'"

Actual results:
Microdnf only supports the old "update" command. Support for the "upgrade" command is missing.

Expected results:
Compatible with YUM4 / DNF. -> Microdnf supports the "upgrade" command. The "update" command is still supported for backward compatibility.

Could you extend ci-dnf-stack to test the microdnf upgrade command, please?
