Description Patrick Donnelly 2020-12-15 02:37:21 UTC
Description of problem:

Multiple file systems is an oldish feature in Ceph but only now being marked stable. The PR marking it stable is almost ready to be merged:

https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/38495

Here is the documentation being worked on:

https://ceph--38495.org.readthedocs.build/en/38495/cephfs/multifs/

For RHCS, multiple file systems are useful mostly for disaster recovery or testing certain file system functions (like snapshots) without disrupting production.

Comment 4 Hemanth Kumar 2021-03-08 16:45:31 UTC
MultiFS feature testing is completed. Moving to verified.
