Description Petr Pisar 2020-12-15 09:55:09 UTC
The Enter Bug form for Fedora product <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora> has a Component field. When a component is selected, a Component Description box next to the input field presents a description of the component.

A user discovered that a description for "time" component is wrong. It is "A tool that performs date-based time calculations". It should be "A GNU utility for monitoring a program's use of system resources". It seems the wrong value belongs to a "timespan" component. At least that's the text in the corresponding RPM packages. I have no idea where Bugzilla takes the values from.

Hi, this value is the component description. All fedora content is managed by the Fedora infrastructure team, you need to contact them directly to see where they pull that from.
