This is a BZ to track the work done to improve our dependencies against the issue that was introduced before FF. 

The dependency issue found discussed here https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/7299#discussion_r533532632 was agreed to be updated so it doesn't cause any side-effects with the 4.7 release.

the devfile flow works fine
verified on 4.7.0-0.nightly-2021-01-29-002304
