[patch] Update to 2.0.0a2 (#1909440)
So, 2.0.0 is out. Building dependent packages: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/kevin/python-jwt-2.0.0/packages/ matrix-synapse is already fixed upstream (but not in a release): https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/pull/8986 python-msal fails to build with current python-jwt. Needs fixing. python-social-auth-core is orphaned. python-twilio has anoyingly pinned an older version of python-jwt upstream. ;( See https://github.com/twilio/twilio-python/issues/551 python-azure-sdk appears to already not build in rawhide. Needs fixing. ceph is still building, will update on it later. Added maintainers of above to cc for comment. I guess we should wait here a bit and see if twilio can be fixed, matrix-synapse does a new release, and the other packages get fixed to build. Latest upstream release: 2.0.1 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.7.1-10.fc33 URL: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/PyJWT Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. [patch] Update to 2.0.1 (#1909440)
the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of python-jwt-2.0.1-1.fc32.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=59908036 Hi, is this new version going to be part of f34? Latest upstream release: 2.1.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.7.1-11.fc34 URL: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/PyJWT Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/5653/ Built in rawhide. Hi, any plan to build this version in other active Fedora releases 33 and 34? If you need it for some reason, we can... sure... do you need 33 and 34? |
