Please update it already, the old version has plenty of memory bugs, the new one hopefully less.

New for version 2.8:
 - Moved project to https://salsa.debian.org/minicom-team/minicom
 - New timestamp mode: Delta to previous line.
 - Add HPA ESC sequence
 - Add alternative window support (ti/te)
