Description Ganesh Payelkar 2021-01-07 13:29:41 UTC
Description of problem:

When troubleshooting ipxe issues, it is helpful to have ping as a possible command to run within the debug console.
Please build iPXE with the ping command

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
satellite-6.8

Expected results:

Component iPXE is maintained by the RHEL team, we use it as libvirt firmware so I am flipping it over to them for considering this.

Comment 18 Jeff Nelson 2021-02-10 07:28:53 UTC
It seems a regression in ipxe-roms-qemu was introduced by this change. See BZ 1926561.
