Description Neha Ojha 2021-01-13 21:11:40 UTC
Describe the issue: Monitors store sensitive data so for security reasons we need to document encryption requirements for disks that store the monitor database. LUKS disk encryption (https://access.redhat.com/solutions/100463) can be used for this purpose.

Describe the task you were trying to accomplish: Make it clear to users that there is no encryption done at the RADOS level for monitors and the disks storing monitor database needs to encrypted.
