Description Prasad Pandit 2021-01-23 13:05:02 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1919529 +++

Description of problem:

Consider the following commands, executed as root:

# mount --bind -o noexec /bin /mnt
# /mnt/ls

The expected behavior is the following:

bash: /mnt/ls: Permission denied

This is what happens on Fedora 33.

On both RHEL7 and RHEL8, the "ls" utility is executed.

How reproducible: 100%
