A patch to apply on gnome-games in FC4 to make dice and card games removable easily.
none
screenshot of gnome-games in application menu. none

Description Hooman Mesgary 2006-05-16 18:57:11 UTC
Description of problem:
As the dice and card games are forbidden in Islamic countries (because they are
considered gambling instruments), they should be removable easily (or get
removed) from gnome games.

A good idea is to define a variable in spec file for dice and another for card
games (like what happened for gnome-stones). And assign 0 or 1 to it to make it
unavailable or available in built RPMs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-games-2.10.0-5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install gnome-games
2. check the games installed, there is Tali and some card games

Actual results:
There is Tali and some card games.

Expected results:
a gnome-games without Tali and any card games.

Additional info:
I have a patch to apply on spec file for gnome-games in FC4. I can port it to
FC5 if desired.

Hi,

I applied your fix to rawhide. Can you try source packages in tomorrow's
compose and tell me if they work the way you want?

There is no icon for Robots.
It is taken from "gnome-games-2.15.2-1"

Robots has an icon nowadays.
