Is your /tmp directory a symlink? This will cause problems if so. Yep, /tmp was a symlink. *sheesh* Shame on me for not noticing that. Especially since my main workstation is Solaris--having a symlink for /tmp would never fly there. Anyway, many thanks for pointing out my error. Got Guiness running smooth now, upgraded from Zoot. Again, many thanks. No problem, glad its working now. |
