This is the clone to propose this for OCS 4.6. Giving devel_ack+ since I agree the work is needed and can be implemented. We still need to have a conversation whether we can ship another z-stream release.

Since this is only for OpenShift Dedicated his does not require explicit QE testing, it is sufficient to simply verify the normal regression testing is not affected.
