Description Andrew Bauer 2021-02-09 02:59:39 UTC
I am part of the dev team for the ZoneMinder package, which lives on RPMFusion.

We plan to use the websocketpp header library in a future release.

In order to avoid embedding the library directly into our project or use a git submodule, it would be nice if we could just pull the package in as a build dependency. To do that, we would need packages for EPEL 7 & 8.

With small changes to the specfile, the build succeeds on el7 (el8 required no changes):
https://github.com/knight-of-ni/specfiles/commit/ee8592fa55a816f0e8f18b01e84bf8e4394e2453

Build results:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/kni/websocketpp/build/1954566/

Would the maintainer be willing to build this package for epel 7 and 8?

Alternatively, if the maintainer gives me commit access, I am willing do all work myself. Thank you.
