Description Direct Docs Feedback 2021-03-03 11:16:12 UTC
For UPI installations, it is suggested to have label and taints for Infra nodes.
# oc label node node-role.kubernetes.io/infra=

# oc adm taint nodes -l node-role.kubernetes.io/infra infra=reserved:NoSchedule infra=reserved:NoExecute

Reference : https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5034771

However if we have the above taints, OCS storagecluster installation will not progress as we don't have any toleration added against it.

We need to add a note in this WARNING section that if Infra nodes have the taint, it has to be removed.
Simply any taint other than node.ocs.openshift.io/storage="true":NoSchedule has to be removed.

# oc adm taint nodes infra=reserved:NoExecute-
# oc adm taint nodes infra=reserved:NoSchedule-
