Description Chris Tyler 2006-05-29 17:20:43 UTC
Description of problem:
- When viewing a PostScript file, evince utilizes ghostscript, but the value of
the --display option to evince is not passed to ghostscript.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
- Verified on 0.4.0, 0.5.1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
$ unset DISPLAY
$ evince --display :0 someExistingPostscriptFile.ps

Actual results:

- Evince border and controls appear
- Document contents do not appear
- This message written to stderr:

  ESP Ghostscript 815.02: Cannot open X display '(null)'.
  **** Unable to open the initial device, quitting.

Expected results:

- Value of --display should be passed to ghostscript
- Document should appear in Evince window
