Description Roman Hodain 2021-03-18 14:22:27 UTC
Description of problem:
RHV hypervisors periodically report that they are recovering from crashes. This is caused by libvirt crash that consequently causes vdsm crash. Related libvirt Bug 1931331 .

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHV 4.4.4

How reproducible:
time to time depends on the load on libvirt

Steps to Reproduce:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1931331#c19

Actual results:
vdsm is restarted

Expected results:
vdsm and libvirt is not restartd

Comment 1 Michal Skrivanek 2021-03-18 14:45:14 UTC
we do not typically track vdsm requirements as RHVH separately. Moving to virt to unify in vdsm.spec

Comment 5 Pavol Brilla 2021-05-12 13:22:23 UTC
# yum deplist vdsm | grep libvirt-daemon-kvm
  dependency: libvirt-daemon-kvm >= 7.0.0-13.module+el8.4.0+10604+5608c2b4
# yum list vdsm
vdsm.ppc64le                    4.40.60.6-1.el8ev
