Description Marcelo Tosatti 2021-04-07 18:45:45 UTC
Interruptions to certain types of applications can be undesired.

To that end, a mode where full task isolation is guaranteed by the kernel has been developed:

https://lwn.net/Articles/816298/

However, this mode is not upstream, and there are a number of objections
to the current patchset.

It would be interesting to get full task isolation mode integrated upstream
so RH's customers can benefit from it as well.
